Em meados de 2002, um amigo me convidou a jogar RPG.
Não tinha a mínima idéia do que se tratava do tal D&D na epoca... porém, sempre adorei coisas medievais.

Com o tempo, aprendi a jogar e a mestrar. Então, criei um personagem chamado 'Reegampott' (nomezinho complicado, eu sei... mas sempre gostei disso).

Um jovem que tinha um sonho. Se tornar herói.
Inspirado por seu pai, almejava ser como aqueles que protagonizavam as façanhas cantadas nas palavras do velho bardo.

Um dia decidiu se aventurar com seu inseparável amigo, Gillgor.

Entretanto, como que por um infeliz destino, este amigo foi morto por um gigante enquanto tentava proteger Reegam....

O jovem jurou vingar o amigo. E assim começou sua jornada em 'Giant Slayer'.

Há um mês atrás, quando bolei a idéia dessa ilustração, pensava justamente na motivação desse personagem: a perda de um grande amigo.


Dias atrás um dos meus melhores amigos se foi.
Se chamava Willians, tinha 24 anos, fazia Engenharia Elétrica na UMC, e adorava Senhor dos Anéis, Forgotten Realms, Evangelion, Love Hina e Saint Seiya.
Fazia parte da nossa mesa de rpg há uns 4 anos.
Sua classe favorita era Mago.

In the middle of 2002, a friend invited me to play RPG.
I had not idea of that it was D&D... however, I always adored medieval things.

With the time, I learn to play and to be a DM. Then, I created a character called 'Reegampott' (complicated name, I know ... but always I liked that).

A young halfling who had a dream. He will become a hero.
Inspired by his father, it was longing to be how those that were playing the lead role in the exploits sung in the words of the old bard.

One day decided to enterprise with his inseparable friend, Gillgor.

Meantime, like what for an unfortunate destiny, this friend was killed by a giant while it was trying to protect Reegam....

The young swore to avenge the friend. And so it began his journey in ' Giant Slayer '.

There is one month behind, when I thought up the idea of this pic, I was thinking about the motivation of this char: the loss of a great friend.


Days behind one of my best friends pass away.
name's Willians, 24 years old, was doing Electric Engineering (in Brazilian University) and was adoring Lord of the Rings, Forgotten Realms, Evangelion, Love Hina and Saint Seiya.
It was part of our rpg group, there are approximately 4 years.
His favorite class was Wizard.
